I was able to develop an action plan to deal with two coaching situations specific to my needs. This will help me put the training to use as soon as I get back into the office.
Small class was definitely advantageous. I learned much more than anticipated as we had one-on-one training with only three in the class.
Good balance of theory, role playing, video learning and opportunity to discuss real life scenarios in context of the course.
I thought the course was very good because it covered a relevant, hands-on approach to coaching. There were a wide variety of tools and approaches you could use for various situations. I especially appreciated the "I Speak" self-evaluation which will be useful in managing up, down and laterally.
I found several areas which I could incorporate into my current coaching sessions.
It reinforced previous management skills and by Day 2 the theory started matching up with practical situations, which made it very relevant.
I liked the fact that all the topics flowed into the next. It was organized and well presented. The presenter was very knowledgeable in the subject area.
