The Centre for Outsourcing Research and Education (CORE) and Canadian Management Centre are proud to offer Canada’s premier outsourcing education program.

Obtain deep insight into the drivers of outsourcing value from highly experienced executives and professionals who have implemented and managed large and complex outsourcing deals. Learn approaches, methodologies and tools to optimize the results and minimize the risks of your outsourcing relationships.

This four module program addresses outsourcing from several perspectives and provides the opportunity to obtain the Accredited Outsourcing Practitioner™ designation.

The Four Learning Modules:

  • The Essentials of Outsourcing - From Strategy to Results, an overview of the entire outsourcing process, providing participants with an appreciation of how outsourcing deals should be conceived, implemented and managed
  • Outsourcing Strategy and Scoping , a deep examination of how organizations develop their outsourcing strategies in relation to corporate strategy, and how they scope and design individual outsourcing transactions
  • Outsourcing Governance and Relationship Management , a deep examination of outsourcing governance models, issues and best practices, with a focus on both governance of the relationship with the service provider, and on internal decision making processes
  • Contract and Performance Management , a deep examination of key outsourcing contract terms and conditions, the establishment of Service Level Agreements, the set up of the “stay-back team” and how to establish performance measures and performance review processes

You can take any or all of these modules, and in any order you choose. You must complete all four over a two year period to be eligible for the Accredited Outsourcing Practitioner™ designation.
