Canadian Management Centre has partnered with The Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation (OCRI) to bring you The Building Blocks for Successful Managers Series. This series will provide managers with the knowledge, expertise and tools to advance their careers.

This Four-Part Series of three-hour workshops will include:

SESSION 2: OCTOBER 23, 2008

GETTING RESULTS WITHOUT AUTHORITY

This three-hour workshop designed as an introduction to Canadian Management Centre’s full two-day Getting Results without Authority course, will present techniques needed to overcome this challenge and tools used to create and maintain rapport and listen effectively. You will focus on the key elements of influencing others when there is lack of authority—personal power, persuasion and negotiation.
