Throughout the business world the race is on to slash costs to the bone. However in the midst of downsizing and rightsizing it is dangerous to view the continued development of your people as a cost.
The truth is that training is more imperative in a recession than when things are stable.
Your employees are your long-term competitive advantage - especially in tough economic times, and organizations that fail to continue to invest in their people and processes will jeopardize their very own survival.
As you face this uncertainty, training and development can help refocus and reenergize your staff at a time when their commitment and engagement is critical.
Join Ken Blanchard and Scott Blanchard from the Ken Blanchard Companies; Jim Kirkpatrick, VP of Global Training and Consulting, SMR USA; and Edward T. Reilly, President and CEO of AMA, for a sincere conversation and Q&A session exploring critical best-practices to help secure your organization's future.
Join us for this energizing discussion which will focus on prescriptive wisdom and proactive actions, including:
Results of AMA and Ken Blanchard Company research on the effects of downsizing and the impact of training upon organization performance
"non-negotiable" skills/competencies that are critical to organization survival
Key insights into successfully managing through difficult change
Justifications for increased spending on training in lean times
And much more
