Canadian Management Centre recognizes the importance of learning from the experts and practioners. We have instituted this best practice within our own Coaching Services. We believe, and will conduct ourselves accordingly, that there is a difference between therapy, counseling, coaching, mentoring and consulting. Although we can assist our customers with resources for each of these services they are not to be confused with Coaching.
Canadian Management Centre's Coaching is defined as a process that enables professionals, through the expertise of a coach, to realize an improvement and/or accomplishment in their performance. And, more permanently it effects positive change both personally and professionally.
At Canadian Management Centre we believe in providing real world benefits to professionals in their efforts to strive for advancement, skill acquisition, and behavourial change. This is why we have lent the reputation of our name to a Coaching Service we feel will benefit our customers. However, we strongly believe there is a difference between Coaching and other services. Specifically, coaching should not be confused with mentoring, counseling, consulting or therapy. Many people interchange these services and this has created an environment of confusion for our customers. It is unfortunate but we have spent a great deal of time distinguishing these differences for people who were left dissatisfied with past experiences from other providers. |
