Canadian Management Centre is excited to host AMA’s Management Podcast “Speed Management” with guest Kevan Hall.
Kevan Hall is the founder of the consulting firm Global Integration. Global Integration is a global consulting and training firm that delivers consulting & training to over 200 companies in 40 countries. Kevan speaks regularly at international conferences and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
During this podcast Kevan will review his new book “Speed Lead” and explain how leaders can simplify the way employees work together in complex companies and make the organization easier and cheaper to operate.
Kevan focuses his management theories on what he calls the “4Cs”:
1. Cooperation
2. Communication
3. Control
4. Community
Throughout this interview Kevan will outline how a manager can identify the most serious efficiency and productivity problems in a workplace. He then explains the most common causes of each and finally the practical solutions.
Kevan emphasis on the need for “selective decentralization” when identifying simpler ways to manage people, projects, and teams, especially in complex companies. He also stresses the importance of simplicity, stating that policies and processes should be “as simple as possible but no simpler.”

Canadian Management Centre is pleased to present the American Management Association’s Leadership Podcast “How to Lead by Example” with guest John Baldoni.
John Baldoni is an internationally recognized leadership consultant, speaker, and author. John Baldoni was named one of the “30 Most Influential Leadership Gurus” by Leadership Gurus International. He has also been featured in many publications, including the New York Times, USA Today, the Chicago Tribune, and Investor’s Business Daily.
During this podcast Mr. Baldoni will review his new book How to Lead by Example and offer real life examples of how a leader can get others to follow their lead and work towards a common business goal.
Mr. Baldoni will explain why it is imperative to have leaders that not only have great business acumen but also have self awareness. He explains why leaders need to know what they do not know. He also reviews why leaders who try to accomplish everything are doomed to fail and provides tips to those leaders that recognize personal short comings.
Mr. Baldoni states that when entering into a new leadership position the transition is never easy but when done correctly can result in inspired leadership. He also explains how this transition can lead to disaster if done incorrectly and how important it is for a leader in transition to give their team a reason to believe in their talents and abilities.
